Is there a collision between good health and the traditional aesthetic of body image?
Yes, we are on a collision course. More than a body-culture revolution, we need a Beauty Culture Revolution where our ideals of beauty, health, and identity come into alignment. New innovative culturally competent models are long overdue to restore health and well being for the African Diaspora.
